Many Insurance Plans Cover Birth Preparation Classes! Not Sure If Yours Does? The First Thing To Do Is Grab Your Card, Look On The Backside And Call The Number.

The Diagnosis Code Is Z32.2.

Your Insurance Company Will Then Let You Know The Steps You Need To Take To Get The Classes Covered.

Also, Some Insurance Companies May Require A Letter Of Medical Necessity. This Is Basically A Letter From Your OB Stating That Childbirth Education Classes Are A Necessary Part Of Your Prenatal Care.

You Should Be Able To Obtain This From Your Doctor.

Your Insurance Company May Ask You For An Itemized Receipt For Reimbursement Purposes. If This Is Something You Need, Just Email us, We'll Provide You With One.

For Lactation Visit, Here’s an unfortunate fact. There is an annoying loophole that allows health insurance companies in the United States to claim that they cover breastfeeding support and supplies as per the Affordable Care Act, even though they won’t allow IBCLCs to be in-network providers. And that’s why the superbill is needed.

Our recommendation would be to contact your insurance company to find out if they have particular forms or instructions for members to request reimbursement.

After your visit submit your documentation ( plan specific forms provided by your insurance or our company-provided Superbill) we will provide you to your insurance company.

What are the cancellation policies?

We understand that things can come up and that you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We kindly ask that you provide us with 24 hours notice should you be unable to make your appointment, and there is no fee for cancellations or rescheduling.

Can we offer haptonomy over Zoom?

We cannot...

Haptonomy is a process, an “Accompaniment” to develop the affective relationship between the mother, the father and the child as early as the first months of pregnancy.
The parents discover the “affective nest” formed by the womb, the perineum, the thoracic di- aphragm and the abdominal muscles that work as a whole. The tonus of all these muscles is very sensitive to the emotional state of the mother: the child feels the slightest changes and reacts to them. The mother can thus offer calm and safety, even in tough moments, for both herself and the child.

This process is based on the feeling between each other, it is impossible to transmitted that over the camera.

Can we come to you?

That can be an option.

Travel and expenses will be on your charge.

Contact us and we will see how we can make it works together.
